Man Dies In Virginia After Accidentally Stabbing Himself With His Sword

Police officers responded to a stabbing in Newport News, Virginia, at 4:40 pm on July 15th. Upon arriving at the scene at Abbington Landing Apartements, they found a 28-year-old male with a self-inflicted stab wound.

It is believed that the man was walking down the stairs carrying a sword when he accidentally stabbed himself in the groin. His death was confirmed by medics at 5:25 pm.

It is currently unknown how the man managed to stab himself, however it is believed to be an accident. Police have stated that they aren’t looking for any suspects.
