Man Arrested After He Accidentally Shot Himself In His Penis
Reading a headline like the one above is always unfortunate, however it also makes you question how something like that could happen. Recently, 43-year-old Donald Anthony Watson was admitted to the Avera McKennen emergency room with a gunshot wound to his penis. The shocking part about this, is that the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
When Watson was originally questioned about the gun shot wound, he told police that he was shot by a black man who tried to rob him while he took out the garbage from his apartment.
Sioux Falls police went to the apartment on East Nye Street in the search of evidence and witnesses. However, one witness told the reporting officers that they had heard a gunshot and screams of pain from the man’s apartment at one o’clock in the morning.
Watson has refused to comment on how or where he received the gun, as he is a convicted felon who isn’t allowed to possess any firearms. He has also been arrested for possession of a firearm — the firearm he used to shoot himself in his private area.
