Politicians are rarely perfect and throughout their careers they will get plenty of criticism from the public — even if they are doing a good job. Some, though, thoroughly deserve the harsh condemnation they receive due to their corrupt actions.

Our latest video looks at some of the most corrupt politicians that have ever held office. History paints a picture of many politicians abusing their power for personal gain and we look at its worst examples, from the likes of Randy Duke Cunningham who used his power to solicit huge bribes and Mobutu Sese Seko who took advantage of his position to embezzle funds of an astonishing scale. So, if you thought that all politicians were rotten, wait until you see just how bad they can really be.
