Golf Course Owner Fined $100,000 For Fertilizing

Homeowners have been complaining about a month long stink that was happening around their neighborhood in San Diego, California. Apparently, a golf club owner decided to pour chicken manure over his entire golf course, saying that he did it for the lawn on the course, using the chicken manure as fertilizer. He also claims to have used chicken manure last year, also.

According to reports, the man has agreed to pay a fine of $100,000 for air pollution. While the owner says he was using the chicken manure as fertilizer for the golf course, some homeowners disagree and say he was doing it to annoy them because they fought his plans to build homes on the property.
