Giuliana Rancic Silences Critics Who Claim She Has An Eating Disorder

Giuliana Rancic has once again come under fire, this time about her thin frame. Us Weekly reports that the E! News and Fashion Police co-host explains that her recent weight loss came as a result of Cancer medication. Rancic was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. The E! star has been under scrutiny for her weight for years, but finally decided to speak out after constant backlash that she was battling an eating disorder. While addressing the issue on The Today Show, Giuliana stated, “I do not have an eating disorder…” she continued, “I have never had an eating disorder. I wanted to be very clear about that. In fact, I eat a lot. People always love to tweet, ‘Eat a burger.’ I eat burgers. It’s not working.”

She explains that she does not find her thin frame attractive, but says she’s doing the best she can. This is just another controversy for the star who was recently in the headlines for statements she made on her show, Fashion Police. During a segment, Giuliana critiqued Disney star Zendaya Coleman’s dreadlocked hair style by stating that the young star smelled like patchouli oil and weed. Viewers thought the comment was racist and took to social media to air their disdain. Amidst the controversy, two of the fashion police hosts, Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin quit the show, and expressed their disappointments in Giuliana’s statements.

Giuliana later made a heartfelt apology on E! News for her comments.
