Could The End of ‘Fashion Police’ Be Near? Kathy Griffin Quits

With the recent controversy surrounding E! Network’s Fashion Police host Giuliana Gancic, and the offensive comments made about Zendaya Coleman’s hair on the Academy Awards red carpet, another host has decided to jump ship. The Emmy-Award winning comedienne Kathy Griffin announced that she has decided to leave ‘Fashion Police‘ after only being on the show for seven episodes. Griffin recently commented on Rancic’s remarks and stated that if she were in Rancic’s shoes, she would have never made that joke about Zendaya’s hair.

Kathy Griffin released a statement on her official Twitter saying that she recently discovered that her style does not blend well with the creative direction of ‘Fashion Police‘ and she has decided to depart from the show. Griffin took over Joan Rivers’ spot on the show after her untimely death last September. Previously, Kelly Osbourne announced that she would be leaving ‘Fashion Police‘ as well.

E! Network confirmed Kathy Griffin’s leave, stating that ‘Fashion Police‘ is scheduled to return on March 30th at 9 p.m. with its co-hosts, Brad Goreski and Giuliana Rancic.
