Donald Trump Feels The Wrath Of R.E.M For Using Their Song
If you are Donald Trump, you are probably very confused about the world at this point. Recent polls suggested that the entrepreneur seems to be leading the Presidential race but media reports and stories surrounding him seem to largely negative. The most recent backlash faced by the billionaire came from celebrated group R.E.M, who seemed very displeased by the fact that he used one of their tracks without permission.
The song in question is the popular tune ‘It’s The End Of The World As We Know It‘, and R.E.M had a problem with the fact that Trump decided to walk out to this inspiring background music during one of this campaign runs. R.E.M’s lead singer, Michael Stipe, used his bassist’s Twitter account to express his discontent over this incident, and his words were very harsh indeed. The official tweet reads: “Go f*** yourselves, the lot of you – you sad, attention grabbing, power-hungry little men. Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign.“
