Car-jacking isn’t uncommon in Atlanta and the surrounding areas, but this owners response certainly is. As a would be car thief attempted to steal this woman’s white Honda from a car wash, she jumped into action and onto the hood of her car to try and stop him.

Her actions proved brazen enough, as the car thief’s slow get-away allowed a nearby pedestrian to give chase, draw his gun, and fire a few rounds into the car, striking the carjacker in the shoulder. The pedestrian then held the individual at gun-point until police arrived. Thanks to the actions of one brave pedestrian, the car’s owner wasn’t injured, and the car was left with only a shattered window.
