Bill Murray Jumps Out Of A Cake For David Letterman

David Letterman received quite a sweet send-off from Bill Murray on his Late Show on Tuesday night. Bill Murray, who first stopped by the show in 1982 as Letterman’s first-ever guest, made an appearance on the Late Show in a hilarious way. Murray emerged from a large cake with the words “Goodbye Dave” written across the front, while the CBS Orchestra played in the background and the audience cheered their support. The actor went on to give Dave a big hug, making the talkshow host covered in cake as well.

For his final appearance as a guest of the legendary host Murray sure didn’t disappoint, and he even managed to top even some of his previous entrances. In the past, Murray has entered Letterman’s show as Liberace, Peter Pan, a dumpster diver, a marathon runner and wearing a tux after supposedly waterskiing at George Clooney’s wedding. CBS announced Letterman’s last show will be held on May 20th, which marks the end of a television era.
