Biker Gang Gun Battle Breaks Out In Waco, Texas

Police in Waco, Texas, have confirmed that a gun battle between rival biker gangs killed at least nine people and left several others critically wounded. According to KXXV, the shooting broke out around 12:15 PM on Sunday. While there is a chance that more than two biker gangs were involved, the fight broke out between two groups who began arguing inside a Twin Peaks restaurant at the Central Texas Marketplace mall.

While shootings in these kind of places almost always leave innocent victims, police are claiming that all those, both wounded and dead, are actually members of the gangs. At least 18 gang members were taken to local hospitals and all those who went had either bullet or stab wounds. Waco has seen a rise in arrests of local gang members recently, who are being charged with involvement in organized crime. It appears that as more people are being charged, tension is rising.
