Angry Mother Whacks Son For Participating In Baltimore Protests

A mother recognized her son within a crowd of the Baltimore protesters, even though he was wearing a mask. The son, along with other protesters, was throwing rocks at policemen, and the boy’s mother wasn’t too enthusiastic about his manner of protesting. ABC 2 News caught the incident on camera, and in the video, the mother repeatedly whacks him, chastising him for his recklessness. She also tries to wrestle the boy’s mask from off his face as well.

One YouTube commenter, perhaps, said it best: “Better the hand of his mother then a bullet of a officer”. Other comments are mixed; some mothers have expressed they would have done the same, while other commenters have claimed that responding to violence with another act of violence won’t solve anything.
