Three Girls Get Jail Time For Twerking Next To Monument In Russia
It looks like Miley Cyrus would be in a lot of trouble if she lived in Russia! Three Russian girls were jailed after a video of them twerking next to a World War II memorial on the Black Sea in Russia was discovered.
The sentencing took place in the Novorossiysk district court. One 19-year-old girl was sentenced to 15 days in jail and two women in their 20’s were sentenced to ten days in jail. It just so happens that five women were found guilty of “hooliganism,” but two of them were spared jail time because of poor health.
It doesn’t stop there though, as prosecutors said that charges would be pressed against the parents of one of the girls. This particular girl happens to be underage and the parents will be charged with “the failure to encourage the physical, intellectual, physiological, spiritual and moral development of a child.”
This all seems a little intense for some twerking, but it will definitely teach these girls a lesson!
