95-Year-Old Man Crushes 200m Sprint Record

Charles Eugster, a retired dentist, has crushed the world record for the 200 meters sprint at the British Masters in London. The 95-year-old man, who resides in Zurich, ran the 200 meters in mere 55.48 seconds, 2.4 seconds quicker than the earlier record holder, Orville Rogers.

According to the retired dentist, one can set goals and challenges no matter what age they are and achieve them too. Dr. Charles Eugster started exercising at the age of 85. He also holds the record for 60m indoors and the records for 100m and 200m outdoors. Eugster was coached by Sylvia Gattiker. The coach said that he is proud of Eugster’s achievement.
