Ashton Kutcher

Famous for his role in That ’70s Show, among numerous other television shows and movies, Ashton Kutcher teamed up with Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary and billionaire Ron Burkle to invest in Uber and Airbnb. Over the course of six years, the duo’s investment portfolio has turned $30 million into $250 million, multiplying their initial investment by 8.3.

The pair have invested in a lot more than just Uber and Airbnb though, as their portfolio includes investments in Skype, Spotify, Pinterest, Shazam, Warby Parker, Zenefits, and Flexport.

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba’s net worth has climbed considerably over the past few years, and is now sitting at more than 360 million dollars. In 2012 Alba started the Honest Company, which sells organic products such as baby wipes, body lotion, and laundry detergent. While it has run into a few PR and legal issues over the six years it has been running, it is boasting hundreds of millions of dollars in annual sales.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Sean John Combs, also known as Diddy, Puff Daddy, and P Diddy, ended last year with a net worth of $825 million – just a few million shy of a billion. Shockingly, Clooney didn’t start Casamigos with Rande Gerber and Michael Meldman to make money – they just wanted a tequila that they enjoyed drinking. After building vacation homes next to each other in Mexico, the two discussed making their own tequila and finally settled on the perfect concoction.

In 2013 Casamigos was available to the public, and shortly after Diageo approached them and offered an initial $700 million for Casamigos, with another $300 million depending on the tequila’s performance.

Robert De Niro

Acting legend Robert De Niro has been credited by world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa for convincing him to launch Japanese restaurant empire, Nobu. De Niro loved Matsuhisa’s earlier restaurants, and became a business partner in the restaurant chain which is now incredibly successful around the world.

Whilst De Niro isn’t as wealthy as some of the other celebrities on this list, having a net worth of $200 million, it is still far more than any of us could ever imagine having.

Shawn Carter, better known as Jay-Z, has grown from being a rapper to an incredibly successful business man.
