Watch Bob Dylan’s Emotional Performance As The Last Musical Guest Of David Letterman

Few moments in television history were as emotional as last night’s episode of the Late Show with David Letterman. Retiring after 33 years on air, Letterman revealed that the only two things that a person needs to learn in their lives is to be nice to people and that the greatest songwriter of all time is Bob Dylan.

After sharing these words, David Letterman presented his final musical guest – Bob Dylan himself. Dylan hadn’t appeared on the Late Show since 1993, prior to this performance. However, he certainly did manage to move the crowd and bring the audience to tears with his emotional performance of “The Night We Called It A Day” from his recent albums with covers of Frank Sinatra, called “Shadows In The Night.”

If there’s one thing we can say after this extremely emotional performance, which you can see below, it’s – we’ll miss seeing your face on the TV every Tuesday, Dave; and you were right about Bob Dylan!
