Many musicians in the entertainment industry are able to have a long, lucrative and successful career. However, the majority of the star’s earnings doesn’t come from just music. In today’s age of the industry, musicians have to be able to tour across the world and have various endorsement deals to become one of the top-earning musicians of the year and the stars on this list have accomplished just that. Some of them haven’t released any new music in a few years, but thanks to touring and branching off to other career avenues, they were able to earn some mega money.
Drake – $40 Million
Drake is without a doubt one of the most successful rappers of this generation. After releasing the hit surprise album, ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’, the Canadian rapper continues to be unstoppable. He has various deals with Sprite and Apple Music.
Beyoncé – $55 Million
Beyoncé was able to cash in nearly $100 million for her 19 city ‘On The Run’ tour with her rapper husband, Jay Z. She also has various endorsement deals with Pepsi and L’Oreal.
Diddy – $60 Million
Music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs earns a lot of his money from things that aren’t related to music. Diddy has his own clothing line, a stake in Revolt TV, and various vodka deals.

One Direction is currently the biggest boy band in the music industry. The group made millions selling their latest album and from their 74 city tour across the country.

Despite not releasing in album in two years, Katy Perry tops the list as the highest paid musician of 2015. She earned nearly $2 million per city during her Prismatic World Tour this year. Katy Perry is also the highest earning celebrity of the year.
