Simpsons Creator Loses Battle Against Cancer

One of the creators of “The Simpsons” has passed away after fighting cancer. The legendary icon died in his L.A home after a long battle against colon cancer. Simon had been very public with his sickness since his diagnosis back in 2012. Reports say that Simon was with his family and dog when he passed. Those who followed Simon’s endeavors knew that he was very concerned with animal’s rights.

A representative from The Sam Simons Foundation made this statement.

“For those of us who knew him, his voice will forever echo in our minds; his sense of humor will continue to make us laugh; and his compassion and generosity will continue to impact our lives. Sam, you will be missed by many, but there is a particular sadness among our clinic staff. We have been together for so long, and your absence will forever leave a void in our lives.”

Before his death, Sam had declared that all of his $100 million dollar fortune would be donated to charities. He may have only lived to be 59, but his legacy will live on forever.
