Shocking Footage of Drunk Knocking Over Elderly Man
While many of us understand exactly how disorienting it is to be thoroughly drunk, it stands to reason that even intoxicated, one might have the good sense to avoid running into others.
A minute-long video has been released showing a visibly inebriated bearded man in a suit outside of Liverpool’s Aintree Racecourse. At first, he appears to just be walking around confusedly, but then, about thirteen seconds into the video, he bumps shoulders with an older gentleman, throwing him off his balance. The older man then falls to the ground, knocking his head hard on the pavement, much to the distress of nearby onlookers. The drunk man (whose name has not yet been released) stops to look before walking away.
The video has quickly gained traffic thanks to social media, inspiring anger from some and humor from others.
Merseyside Police are reportedly questioning the drunk man and the older man’s current condition is unknown.
