Mother Finds Bags Of Weed In Walmart Toy

According to reports from Huffington Post, an Oregon mother got startled when she was assembling a toy meant to be an Easter gift for her child. The toy, “Smart Shots Sports Center” by VTech, is essentially a ball-shooting game that lights up when shots are made. She found it in the clearance section at Walmart.

The mother, Christina Marie Hannahs, of Otis, said that she noticed certain parts were missing when she was erecting the game. Rummaging inside the box for the needed parts, she found clear plastic bags of of marijuana. Hannahs told news station KATU that “I was shocked at first. I would love a drug-free gift for Easter.”

As of now, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s department is pursuing the investigation, but has not yet confirmed whether the bags have tested positive for marijuana and exactly how much of the drug was there. Hannahs asked KATU, rhetorically, “If a little bit of weed gets into packages, what else could get in there?”. Walmart, for the time being, said questions regarding the investigation should be sent to the sheriff’s department.
