Mean Girls Spin-Off “Mean Moms” May Star Jennifer Aniston

The Mean Girls spin-off movie Mean Moms is really happening, and the upcoming flick may have one big celebrity for a leading role. According to Us Weekly, Jennifer Aniston is thinking about taking a part in the film. Sean Anders signed on this week to direct Mean Moms, and that is believed to be her key motivation for considering a part. Aniston, 46, has worked with Anders before on 2014’s Horrible Bosses 2.

Currently without a set release date, Mean Moms is a screen adaptation of the book Queen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads, which was written by Mean Girls author Rosalind Wiseman. Wiseman saw big success when she wrote Queen Bees & Wannabes in 2002, as it inspired the 2004 box office smash Mean Girls, starring Tina Fey, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried.

Mean Moms follows the lives of a set of happy, well-adjusted parents who move to a new neighborhood. The couple is in for a big shock when they meet the local parents. Aniston doesn’t have too many large projects coming up too soon, which opens up her availability for a part in this film. So fetch!
