Incredible Sign Language Version Of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”

Sign language interpreter Shelby Mitchusson is receiving lots of attention for her captivating performance of rapper Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” song. In the video, Shelby stands against a blank wall and opens the clip by mimicking the movements of playing a piano as the actual piano rhythm from the song plays in the background. Once the song starts, Shelby, who is not actually deaf, starts to interpret the rapper’s lyrics, swaying and moving to the beat; clearly in enjoyment. She continues her entrancing performance till the song ends.

Mithusson’s video was actually posted last September but according to Us Magazine “[It] picked up steam in recent weeks after gaining views on YouTube and charting on Reddit.” The Texas native explains that the video was sparked by her deep love for interpreting music.
