Graffiti Artist Spray Paints Penises On Potholes To Get Them Fixed

A mysterious graffiti artist in Manchester, England, has taken up a noble mission. He aims to have all potholes removed in the region — by drawing penises on them. The artist, with the use of non-permanent spray paint that washes within two weeks, draws penises on and around the hole-ridden roads after his friends got into serious accidents due to them.

The artist calls himself ‘Wanksy‘, an obvious parody to Banksy, another famous graffiti artist in the UK. When asked why he decided to draw penises on potholes, he responded that he “wanted to attract attention to the pothole & make it memorable. Nothing seemed better than a giant comedy phallus.” He also commented that they are quick to draw, and they draw attention to the problem. “People drive over the same pothole and forget about it. Suddenly you draw something amusing on it, everyone sees it and it gets reported or fixed.” he said.

Wanksy said that his plan has been successful so far and the potholes are getting fixed fast, within days. Because of his scheme, he’s won himself fans and enemies — such as the local government and police.

A Bury council spokesman commented on the Evening news that Wanksy’s actions are stupid and increditbly insulting to the local residents. He was furious that young children will see the obscene drawings as they walk to school. The local government have called it vandalism and added expenditures from spending money to clean off the graffiti. Wanksy’s identity is still anonymous.
