Father Drives Son To School In A Tank
Riding in style isn’t exactly a foreign concept, but it’s one that can be taken to extremes in an instant. All sorts of cars and trucks have seen their share of modifications, but apparently one man decided to shrug off even the most esoteric add-ons just so he could leave an impression. Neither car nor truck suited him; he saw fit to take his son to school in a fully-operational tank.
Tank commander Vitaly Dolgorukova took note of his son’s nervousness on the first day of school, and thought of a way to ease the tension. With the knowledge that his Ukrainian town saw tanks more regularly than most, he took his machine out for a spin to make a splash with the student body. His plan worked; while one would think that the sight of an incoming tank would cause more fear than excitement, Dolgorukova’s son and plenty of other kids got to go gaga.
It’s worth noting that the tank commander is thought to be a member of a separatist militia, and as a result has likely seen some combat situations in his home of Donetsk. If that’s true, then it’s likely that his tank shenanigans did more than show off whose dad has the coolest ride; maybe he gave the kids more solace than anyone could ever have guessed.
