Engaged Couple Really Do “Save The Date”

A newly engaged couple from San Francisco decided to do something unique for their wedding’s “save the date“. Tyler MacNiven and Kelly Hennigan both claim to “love a good pun” so they decided to literally “save” the date in their video titled “Operation: Save the Date“.

A fun take on a Mission Impossible-type movie, their video is spreading around the internet like wildfire. In the video, they are seen battling thugs and using cake bombs, thanks to family and friends they enlisted to help shoot it.

MacNiven is no stranger to adventure, having won season 9 of The Amazing Race. He wants their wedding to be just as adventurous as their ‘ save the date‘, saying: “Instead of a cake cutting, we’re going to have the traditional cake explosion, where we blow up a giant wedding cake.”
