Edmonton Cab Drivers Are Stripping In Protest Over Uber

There are around 200 cab drivers who have taken to the streets of Edmonton in protest over the new Uber drivers showing up in their area. The massive crew shut down a council meeting earlier this week, where the entire council had to take off into the lounge behind the room.

A large number of these cab drivers decided the best course of action would be to remove all of their clothing and demand pizza in protest. Thankfully, the cab drivers were actually quite respectful during their protest. When the acting city manager Linda Cochrane appeared to broker some peace, they actually stopped their shouting to listen to what she had to say.

The American company has long been considered to be ruining the cab driving industry. Uber, unfortunately, is moving across the world rather quickly and it’s unclear what can be done to stop them.
