Charles Bronson Has Helped Raise Hundreds of Thousands for Charity From Prison
Notorious British prisoner, Charles Bronson, has been making the public news once more recently. The violent prisoner recently sent a ‘get well soon’ card to Leah Washington, whose leg was attempted following the rollercoaster crash at Alton Towers.
Bronson drew a dragon on the card for the 17-year-old, but this is not the only artwork the man has created over the years.
Over the past 20 years, Bronson has raised around £250,000 for charities throughout the country and individuals thanks to the artwork he has sent from prison.
Lorraine Etherington of The Charles Salvador Art Foundation said:
Over the years, Charlie has donated hundreds of pieces of art, which has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes and needy individuals.
Bronson spends 23 out of 24 hours of his day locked behind double doors in the Exceptional Risk Unit of his prison. This particular wing has become known as the ‘Monster Mansion’ for the incredibly violent inmates that make their bed here. These random acts of kindness from the prisoner are a bit of a shocker to most.
All proceeds of his art goes to charity and anyone can purchase the work he has created, reports LAD Bible.
