Canadian Election Candidate Resigns After Peeing In A Client’s Sink

Jerry Bance, a Toronto businessman who had been running for Parliament, dropped out of the race after getting caught on camera while urinating in a coffee cup. Bance was running for a seat in the Parliament with Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s party. The businessman owns an appliance repair company and was filmed while working as an appliance repairman. The footage dates back to 2012 and shows Bance peeing into a cup while on a service call, after which he poured down the sink.

A Conservative party spokesman stated that “Mr. Bance is no longer a candidate” and the man himself said he deeply regrets the incident and it doesn’t reflect who he is as person or professional. The opposition had a field trip with the incident, mocking the Conservatives. “He must be someone who is adept at Stephen Harper’s trickle-down theory of economics,” said Tom Mulcair, the New Democrat leader.
