Baywatch Star Arrested For Stabbing A Man
Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man with a knife on Friday, April 24th, then fleeing the scene before police arrived. The incident took place in Westlake, Los Angeles.
US Weekly reports that “the unidentified victim suffered a stab wound to his left upper torso, and identified the assailant as “Hobie,” which is Jackson’s character’s name from the lifeguard TV series.”
One day after the incident took place, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department received a call that a suspicious man was walking around the same neighborhood. It turned out to be 34 year old Jackson. When police arrived he was arrested, but was released on bail that same day.
The Baywatch alum later spoke to TMZ about the incident and explained that the stabbing was in self-defense. This is not Jeremy’s first brush with the law since he left the popular show in 1999. He has struggled for many years with drug and alcohol addiction, and in 2005 he was arrested for setting up a meth lab in his home.
