Star of the New James Bond Movie Injured On Set

James Bond is certainly one of the most iconic characters in the history of action cinema, if not one of the greatest characters in the realm of fiction period. And since the smashing success of the 23rd Bond film Skyfall, everyone is on pins and needles wondering to see what the hero will be up to next… though they might have to wait a bit extra.

James Bond may be indestructible but the man who plays him is not. While on set for the latest edition of the Bond franchise Spectre, the 47 year-old actor was hurt during the production of the film. Craig suffered an injury to his knee and, though noted as being minor, was treated with an arthroscopic surgery during the Easter break. His recovery is supposed to be a short one with his filming schedule continuing on April 22nd. The trailer for the 24th Bond film was released a short time ago and the film is due in theaters on November 6th of this year.

This news doesn’t come as shocking as some other near death celebrity experiences, but it would have sure slowed down filming of the new movie.
