Tina Fey and Robert Carlock created the series that follows the life of Kimmy Schmidt (Ellie Kemper) who as released from a religious cult bunker and her journey to adjusting to a new, normal life in NYC. Along the way she becomes roommates with the hilarious Titus Andromedon (Tituss Burgess).

Titus is described as a gay, larger than life, aspiring Broadway star. On his way to becoming a Broadway performer, Titus teams up with his landlady, Lillian Kaushtupper (Carol Kane) to create his own music video, Peeno Noir. According to Titus, Peeno Noir is an ode he wrote to black penis. The hilarious music video features Titus attempting to rhyme some unusual words to the word, noir. The Peeno Noir music video has become an instant hit on social media. Due to the popularity of the Peeno Noir music video as well as great reviews, Netflix has decided to renew Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for a second season.
