Woman Removes Body Parts From The Corpse Of Her Dead Rival
You don’t want to mess with this Oklahoma woman, as Shaynna Sims is accused of slashing the face and cutting off a toe and breasts on the corpse of a romantic rival. The body was awaiting cremation at the funeral home, but Sims went in and performed these crazy acts.
The Tulsa District Attorney’s Office said Sims was charged with the “unlawful removal of body parts from deceased” after her break-in at the funeral home. Sims was set to appear in court on Friday, but prosecutors said it was pushed back until Monday.
The deceased woman, who was the girlfriend of Sims’ former boyfriend, had died from natural causes after a lengthy illness. Sims has already been charged with crimes including stealing shoes meant for the woman, unauthorized dissection for slashing the face and interrupting a funeral.
Sims did post the $43,750 bond earlier this week and was released from the Tulsa jail, however prosecutors are seeking to raise the bail amount. They also said it is too early in the case to know what sentence they will seek.
