Woman Arrested After Killing Pregnant Woman and Stealing Her Unborn Child

Cinthia Fatima has been arrested in Tampico, Mexico, after being accused of luring 20-year-old expectant mother Jessica Gabriela to her home and strangling her, before cutting her unborn baby out of her womb.

Fatima recently had a miscarriage, and in order to cover it up Fatima and her husband, Omar Enrique, lured Gabriela to their home by offering to give her some baby clothes via social media. Gabriela’s family became concerned after she didn’t return after a few hours , with her body being found decomposing in Fatima’s home days later.

Local authorities were alerted after a woman went to a hospital with a dead baby, claiming that she had a stillbirth. Local media outlets report that Fatima had lost her child months earlier, but had not told her husband.

Gabriela is one of many pregnant women Fatima contacted, with the intention of luring them to her home and killing them and stealing their unborn child. Fatima hoped that by taking an unborn child and claiming it as her own, her husband wouldn’t find out about her miscarriage.
