The Simpsons Opening Intro Recreated In Minecraft

After The Simpsons skin pack for Minecraft was released in January this year, it was only a matter of time before a fan of the block-building game recreated the animated show’s opening.

Now, thanks to YouTuber Barely Regal, this task has finally been achieved. The one and a half minute intro is so good it could have been made by the Simpsons’ creators themselves. It even has the same intro music as the long running series.

Made on the Xbox One version of Minecraft, could this pave the way for full feature length episodes being created by players? Quite possible, as there’s already complete recreations of Springfield popping up in the game.
