Suge Knight Collapses In Court After $25 Million Bail Set

The criminal activity and trial for former rap label CEO Marion “Suge” Knight has been in the news since his murder arrest in January. Knight was in the courtroom in downtown Los Angeles Friday morning when he collapsed in front of the entire crowd. The LA Fire Department wheeled him out on a gurney, unconscious.

Knight was removed from the courtroom and was moved to a jail hospital to be evaluated by doctors there. Deputy District Attorney Cynthia J. Barnes believes Knight “did it in front of the cameras“. During the trial, Knight’s left shoulder was twitching and he tensed up. This is not the first time Suge Knight has had medical issues while in custody, as he has been brought to the jail hospital multiple times.

Suge’s bail was set at $25 million, which Barnes thought was too low for someone like him. Barnes indicated his extensive run-ins with the law throughout the past to back up her claim. Over two dozen police reports have implicated Knight in robberies, extortion, money laundering, assault, intimidation, and even battery.
