Shia Labeouf’s Hilariously Inspiring Motivational Speech

Shia LaBeouf has done some crazy things in the past – including attending a film premier whilst wearing a paper hat and running around a museum in Amsterdam 144 times or live-streaming his heartbeat for a performance art piece. This time however, he topped it all by delivering one of the most intense motivational speeches ever to be uploaded on the internet in his new project titled #INTRODUCTIONS. The actor collaborated with students at Central Saint Martins in London for their 2015 degree show by making 36 short films starring himself performing in front of a green screen.

LaBeouf’s impassioned speech for one of the films, which was produced by Central Saint Martins student Joshua Parker, involved LaBeouf shouting at the camera: “Do it! Just do it! Don’t let your dreams be dreams. Yesterday, you said tomorrow. So just do it,” giving all the procrastinators the motivation they desperately need. In other clips, he also read excerpts from Charles Bukowski’s poem The Laughing Heart, played the parts of two people in one single conversation, asking questions such as: “Do you think we could fall in love on the internet?” after which he decided to spin around on a stool and respond, “no … because it wouldn’t be love, it would just be porn.” The most memorable clip features LaBeouf repeatedly making “ooohmn” sounds while standing in front of a block of butter.
