Shaolin Monk Runs On Water Using Nothing But Planks Of Wood

The human body is truly an amazing instrument that can used to achieve incredulous feats. If you ever thought running on water using nothing but small planks of floating wood is impossible, then Shi Liliang, a Chinese Shaolin Monk, will blow your mind away.

The masterful monk displayed the full extent of his training and capabilities when he broke his own previous record by 5 meters, running a total of 125 meters across a river — using nothing but the buoyancy created by 200 small planks of wood. The monk said in an interview after setting the world record that he managed to accomplish running across water by being fast, taking small steps and relying on speed and balance simultaneously.

The Shaolin temple manages to produce some truly mind-blowing individuals who continue to push the boundaries of human abilities and prove what we are capable of achieving when fully utilizing our body and mind.
