Pizza Delivery Driver Completes Delivery After Being Stabbed

In an impressive case of killing two birds with one stone, a Louisville delivery driver for Spinelli’s Pizzeria completed his delivery to a local emergency room after being carjacked at knife point and stabbed in the back, the Associated Press reports.

Josh Lewis, 19, is in stable condition after undergoing the terrifying ordeal. En route to deliver a pizza to the Norton Hospital emergency room, an unidentified assailant carjacked Lewis and stabbed him in the back, injuring him seriously. He then walked the rest of the way with pizza still in hand. When he arrived, he reportedly put business first, delivering the pie as he normally would before collapsing. Willow Rouben, Spinelli’s regional manager, said of Lewis: “I can’t believe he just walked in there, said ‘Hi, I’m from Spinelli’s. I have a pizza delivery,’ and then just collapsed. That’s dedication.” He went on to praise the young man’s work ethic, saying: “He’s just always been a really great guy. He shows up on time and is a great worker.”

Louisville police are still searching for the suspect.
