Man Urinates On Fellow Passengers On Airplane
Police are set to charge a man from Oregon after it was reported that the urinated on other passengers during a flight. Jetblue Flight 47 was travelling to Portland International Airport when 27-year-old Jeff Rubin allegedly peed on some of those around him before falling back to sleep.
According to passengers who were on the plane, Rubin had spent most of the flight asleep but shortly before the plane was due to land, he woke up and began to urinate between a crack in the seats in front of him. He then lost his balance and fell backwards, spilling urine on other passengers and luggage in the process.
Passengers and staff remained calm throughout the incident, with many not even realizing what had happened until police boarded the plane when it touched down. “It’s not like anyone was screaming. I didn’t even realize anything had happened until the flight attendants came up to me and told me police were going to come onboard,” said Suzanna Caldwell.
Rubin was arrested and spent several hours in jail before he was released while police continue their investigations, though police sources say he is likely to be charged with criminal mischief and offensive littering.
