Korean Designer Creates Coffee Lid With Realistic Nose And Lips
Jang Woo-Seok, a South Korean designer, has created a coffee lid prototype, known as the ‘Coffee Lid: Take ‘Kiss’ Out’, that has realistic nose and lips. Each time you take a sip of your coffee, you can imagine yourself kissing someone.
The coffee lid prototype was made for a cafe franchise and starts production this week. The designer said that there was just a mouth on the lid to begin with for the prototype. However, he felt that there was something missing in their initial design concept. Jang realized that touching the nose is a necessary point in order to feel realistic while being smooched. Therefore, he added the nose to the coffee cup lid. Woo-Seok thinks that the lids will make the coffee drinker stand out among other coffee lovers.
