Jim Carrey’s Ex-Girlfriend Writes Final Tweet Before Committing Suicide
Cathriona White, better known as the ex-girlfriend of Jim Carrey, has tragically taken her own life after posting a final tweet. White wrote on her social media account “Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest. love to [you] all.“
The tweet seems to be a final farewell to the public, friends and family. TMZ reported that apart from the tweet, she also left a suicide note for Jim Carrey that referred to their breakup. The on-again, off-again couple met back in 2012, and have reportedly gotten back together before breaking up just days before she committed suicide.
White’s family and friends are devastated with the news, and Jim Carrey left a heartbreaking statement: “I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.“
Cathriona White is an Irish makeup artist and aspiring actress. Her lifeless body was discovered when two of her friends came to her Los Angeles home to check up on her. She was only 28 years old.
