Heartless Woman Runs Over Ducklings At McDonald’s Drive-Thru
Everybody loves ducklings – they are so fluffy and adorable. Well, it doesn’t seem like everybody loves them, as a mother and her children witnessed a woman run two ducklings over at a McDonald’s Drive-Thru the other day.
Vicky Smith and her two children, 7-year-old Saul and 5-year-old Eve, were waiting at a McDonald’s Drive Thru after going on a short holiday from Barnsley to Skegness, England. The car in front of them, a blue Renault Megane, placed their order and proceeded to drive forward, and in the process ran over two ducklings.
“My son was distraught. When we were coming back round we could see the daddy duck looking for the little ducklings. We couldn’t believe anyone could be so heartless. She placed her order and then just drove through them. We thought that it wouldn’t matter if she had to wait a few minutes for them to move so she could drive forward. She obviously saw them,” Vicky said.
Vicky was taking photographs and videos of the ducklings for her son, Saul, to show his friends when they got home from their holiday. Whilst Vicky was filming the group of ducklings, the blue car in front ran over two of the stragglers. “He is very upset about it. He’s been telling his granddad about the nasty woman who drove over the ducklings” she said.
