FOX Releases First Trailer For Minority Report Television Series

The Minority Report is one of Philip K. Dick’s most famous science-fiction stories. Originally published in 1956, Steven Spielberg later adapted the story into a film in 2002, which starred Tom Cruise. Now, FOX is developing a TV series that will continue the story set forth in the short story and film.

The premise of Minority Report is that three twins have the ability to see crimes before they happen, and police are then sent out to stop the crimes before they occur. In Spielberg’s film, however, the practice is ended when the main villain tricks the system, and the twins are released from their duties. The television series, set to arrive this Fall, will continue the story of the twins.

The narrative will mainly follow the twin Dash (Stark Sands), who still suffers from visions of murders. He’ll try to use his diminishing powers by helping detective Lara Vega (Meagan Good). Complicating matters will be the other twins, Arthur and Agatha (Laura Regan), as well as other people who want to exploit the twins’ gift of foresight.
