“Deez Nuts” Vine Sensation Arrested For Sexual Assault
The name Welven Harris is not exceptionally memorable or recognizable; however most people would recognize the face of the recent social media sensation.
The man made a Vine (6 second video) that went viral almost immediately. He was on the phone with a friend when he said “You got somethin’ in the mail today.” His friend proceeded to ask “What?” Harris, being the hilarious man that he is, yelled, “deez nuts! Ha! Got em!” The video circulated the internet very quickly, and Harris shot to fame.
At a party in North Hollywood on April 14th, Harris was arrested for sexually assaulting several women. He is being accused of repetitively shouting “Who ain’t got no b*tches?” and then touching the victims inappropriately. He also allegedly wouldn’t allow the women to leave his VIP section inside Infusion Lounge, a nightclub in North Hollywood.
Police say that a warrant was issued for his arrest that night, and he was taken into custody on Wednesday. He has since been released on bail.
