Cheapest Method To Obtain A Gold Apple Watch

Most normal people don’t have $12,000 laying around, which just so happens to be the official price tag for the gold model of the Apple Watch. That is unfortunate, and wildly absurd, so New York film director Casey Neistat has come up with his own method for ensuring he too can have his own golden watch around his wrist.

Neistat takes a standard model Apple Watch, which costs $399 – still nothing to gawk at – and decides to spray paint it to a golden color. This allows him to appear fancy and rich enough to afford the extravagant new technology, but it certainly doesn’t break the bank when he finishes it.

The moral of the story is not to waste thousands of dollars on some gimmicky piece of technology that you could create in your own garage for far less money. It may not be the same, but it will certainly look the same. All of those individuals who spent $12,000 won’t be able to get that same sense of pride from having made their own Apple Watch.
