Britain’s Most Violent Prisoner Passes Course On Being Less Violent

Charles Bronson, 62, who is the most violent prisoner in all of Britain, has now passed stage two of a three-part course on violence reduction. The man may be tired of being so mean and violent to everyone; perhaps his days of beating someone to a pulp have almost come to an end.

Bronson, who now is known as Salvador, has been in prison for the past 40 years due to various forms of violence. He passed the first stage of the Violence Reduction Programme (VRP) in November 2012. Now he has made it through stage two and progressed to stage three.

The course is said to only take six months to complete, but Bronson has had multiple setbacks within the past three years. The goal of the program is teaching violent individuals to ‘take responsibility’ for all of their actions. Bronson, according to The Mirror, is very positive about his parole hearing, which is happening soon enough. They said:

“He is very positive about his up coming parole hearing. He knows has its already been turned down that this is just his chance to put his case forward but he hopes it’s the start on his path to progress. We have heard his planned speech and he very well prepared and realistic in his approach – fingers crossed. He has also been giving another award for stage 2 of his violence reduction programme.”

Bronson should complete the course soon enough, unless he has a few more setbacks, which means he may not finish until 2017 or later.
