Austrian Brothel Offering Free Sex During Tax Protest

A brothel in Austria is sick of paying punitive taxes, so the owner has issued a summer-long protest and is offering free sex to customers. This is no joke either, as the brothel was contacted and the woman who answered the phone confirmed the claims. The Pascha establishment in Salzburg posted on its website saying: “We are not paying taxes any more. Effective immediately: Free Entrance! Free Drinks! Free Sex!” So, not only can you get free sex, but free drinks too!

Hermann Mueller, the owner of the brothel, said, In the last decade I have paid taxes of almost €5 million…The problem is, the tax office wants more and more.” To make up for those taxes, Mueller said he is not paying any taxes this summer and he will reimburse the prostitutes for their lost wages, which he said is about 10,000 euros each month.

Prostitution is legal in Austria and it is fully taxed and regulated. Allegations have been made that Mueller is involved in tax evasion or human trafficking, but he rejected those allegations. He added that his business operates within the confines of the law.
