110-Year-Old Woman Claims Beer Is The Answer To Her Long Life


Agnes Fenton celebrated her birthday in much the same way she has lived the rest of her life. She had a couple of beers and a shot of hard liquor. The 110-year-old New Jersey resident isn’t someone who believes that “clean living” is the way to make sure you live a long and happy life. Instead, the senior citizen credits her long existence on this planet to “believing in God,” and popping the “champagne of bottled beers” daily according to the New York Daily News.

The supercentenarian first came into the public spotlight five years ago, when she told the media that she had lived to be 105 because she drank three bottles of miller highlife and a glass of Whiskey a day. How long has Fenton been doing this? The woman claims that it started about 70 years ago, when he doctor told her she was in perfect health except for a tumor he promised was benign. She claims her doctor was actually the one who told her she needed to start a steady diet of booze.
