Rapper 6ix9ine Pistol-Whipped, Kidnapped and Robbed
Daniel Hernandez, better known as rapper Teskashi 6ix9ine, has been hospitalized after being pistol whipped, kidnapped, and robbed.
According to reports, 6ix9ine was returning home at approximately 4 am on Sunday morning after leaving a music studio in Brooklyn, New York. Statements 6ix9ine gave police said he was sitting outside his house in the passenger seat of a car at 4:30 am when the car was hit from behind. Two men with guns jumped out of the vehicle, stole the driver’s iPhone, and put the rapper in the back of their car.
The men demanded money and jewelry from the rapper, who then called his daughter’s mother to come out of the house with his jewelry. The men allegedly took more than $750,000 in jewelry and between $15,000 and $20,000 in cash, before driving off with 6ix9ine still in the back seat. The rapper managed to get one of the doors open and escape the vehicle, before flagging down a nearby motorist and having them call 911.
