Miss Alabama Takes On Donald Trump During Pageant Q&A

While Donald Trump has many detractors when it comes to his run for the White House, one unlikely foe appears to be a beauty pageant contestant. During the Miss America pageant over the weekend, Miss Alabama was asked about her opinion of the Presidential race and Donald Trump in particular. According to USA Today, the young woman made it very clear that she was not a fan.

“I think Donald Trump is an entertainer. And I think he says what’s on a lot of people’s minds but I think that the Republican party should be absolutely terrified of all the attention that he is taking from incredible candidates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie who could absolutely do the job of president of the United States. And if I were a Republican, I would absolutely be terrified of that. Thank you.” She said, as the crowd reacted to the rather strong words about a Republican candidate.
