Man Arrested After Robbing Bank With Bomb Made From Sex Toys

A man in Pennsylvania decided to rob a PNC Bank by making a fake bomb. He was successful — until the police captured him after the robbery, and the results couldn’t have been more hilarious. Aaron Stein attached the “bomb” to himself when going into the bank in Crafton, PA, and showed the wires to the teller. After receiving the cash, he didn’t get very far, as officers were able to spot his car and pull him over.

After a quick chase, NBC News reports what they found when making the arrest. “Officers found money in a garbage bag, and beneath the front passenger seat, they found the device Stein is accused of having used in the bank robbery — a makeshift [bomb] he made out of a box, black tape, vibrator and cellphone,” Crafton Police Chief Mark Sumpter said. Stein is facing nine different felony counts, including robbery and both threatening and copying a weapon of mass destruction.
